Galilea Montijo
Galilea Montijo Torres (born June 5, 1973 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) is a Mexican actress, show host, and comedian. She currently hosts Hoy, a morning show of Televisa, and El gran show de los Peques.[1] Montijo recently hosted the talent-reality show Pequeños Gigantes, which was a success in Mexico and in the United States by Univision.[1]
Career
Montijo started her career after winning La Chica TV in 1993.[1] She then began starring in several telenovelas.[1] From 2001 to 2005, Galilea hosted the show VidaTV. In 2004, she participated in the reality show Big Brother VIP and won. In 2005, she also participated in the second season of Bailando por un Sueño. In 2006, Montijo starred in the Mexican telenovela La Verdad Oculta, opposite Gabriel Soto.[1]
